Its up to you. The EDGE uses canned tunes, and cant access all the parts of the PCM. Custom tuned Xcalibrator 2's can access ALL the parts of the PCM, which is important, because changed can be made ANYWHERE it needs it, youre not restricted by the hardware.
All of my customers who have switched from an edge are glad they did.
This is not to say that the EDGE is a bad tuner. It is certainly better than stock, and if what youre looking for is some canned tunes to make a slight improvement, and the undeniably cool gauges, that may be the way to go.
