Probably a cps.....

Once in a while, typically when accelerating from a stop, the truck will shudder once. I don't think the tach even bounces when this happens. At most, it happens once a week, sometimes it will be a month or more between occurrences. I have a spare CPS, but was wondering if maybe it might be the throttle switch/pedal. I hate to throw parts at it. It has never stalled out completely from this, but it is kind of unnerving when pulling onto the interstate. Any way to test the pedal? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks!

Have you checked for any stored codes? This may help steer you in the right direction. You could check the output wire in the TPS for a skip in the voltage while slowly pressing the pedal from Idle to WO. I believe the wire is brown with a white tracer.
