Dimmer relay question?
I've learned alot from this forum and I'm once again looking for some good old Explorer know how. Last night on the way home from work I had no power windows, glove box light, overhead interior light, rear wiper, and the 4X4 indicator was flashing. When I got home I tracked it down to the Battery saver relay. I removed the battery saver relay and put the dimmer relay in its place (I had none of those little relays in stock). I now have an empty space where the dimmer relay goes. I looked last night and again this morning, but I'll be damned if I can figure out what the dimmer relay does/did. Without one in the truck I can't figure out whats not working, everything seems normal. Any ideas? Thanks
