Well I after 2 years I finally have my 68 F250 on the road. I am still working out a few bugs, but it runs good and handles great. Check out a few new pics in my gallery.
Damn, that's sweet, Larry! I see you went with the '72 grille. Funny, I was going to do the same with my '68 since I always liked the look of the '72, but after I had the '68 for a few days I decided to leave the stock grille in place, especially since it was in so much better shape than my '72 grille.
Thanks guys. Yes, I moved the tank to the rear. 32 gallons and I think I will need every drop. It doesn't seem to get great mileage, but who cares. Not my daily driver. I went with the 72 front end, because that what was with the truck when I bought it. It is a truck of many years, kind a like the Johnny Cash song.
My old 73 F250 4x was a truck of many years too. I can relate to the Johnny Cash Song thing. My wife used to call mine Franky (for Frankinstein LOL). Gosh I miss that truck.
Nice ride by the way. That's when a truck was a truck eh?
I am just getting to restoring a 70 highboyTruck . Your truck is an inspiration for me to get going. I really like that color. I bet it is very hard to lose in a big parking lot. How long did it take you? I hope our trucks meet up some day.
