I got one and think it is very popular. The hot rodders tend to like the 53 - 56 trucks. My opinion is that 1948 to 1952 "bonus bulit" trucks are the best. Other guys like the 60's some think the Model A trucks are the best. Actualy I have not seen a ford truck I do not like new, old, rusted or restored.
Dont be afraid to buy a truck because others dont see it as popular, as long as you like it, that is all that matters.
There are a lot more aftermarket/reproduction parts available for the 53-56, but parts for the 48 - 52 and 57 - 70's are steadily growing due to high demand.
