fill out the location section of your profile, and u'd get more local help... What do you need? Theese trucks only had minor changed, 1980-1996, so there's an abundance of parts out there...
Shouldnt be to hard to track a stock one down in a junkyard, and an aftermarket one should be around $500... I think that's what I priced out, for an edlebrock setup on my 302.
yes. to specific of a part and I'm tring to stay away from after market because they are made of aluminum and worp to easy.
I've had really good luck with the Edelbrock intake on my old Pontiac Ventura II. It's been on there for 4 years and it's never leaked or given me any problems.
I even put an Edelbrock intake on my 86 F-250 but I was not impressed with the quality out of the box. It had bits of aluminum inside it left over from the machining process and when I torqued it down, two of the mounting holes cracked. It seems to me that anymore, it's just a roll of the dice when it comes to quality.
I would say to just check the junk yards. I dont know what they are like down there in florida but where I'm from they have all kinds of intakes for that motor.
wow..my VW Fox GL did 115mph....with its HUGE 1.8 4 cyl. 81 HP motor...
If you wanna know where that quote came from... A and E did a documentry on street racing. Some idiot with a rx7? said, directly to the camara "Some of our street races have been known to reach speeds in excess of 85MPH"
I laughed my *** off, and then changed the channel.
My trofieo will do 118, I think it's limited to 120, but I dunno...
Just a dumb quote, o well, better find another one
