While attempting to remove the ABS unit from the rear end of my 1993 f350, the sensor broke off leaving nothing to pull on to remove the rest of it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to remove the rest of the sensor from the rear end?

There could be an oring and the plastic body of the vehicle speed sensor left in the hole. First clean clean the area completly of all dirt etc....... then as stated use a drill and screw, off to one side as the center has a steel pickup. If anything is missing after removal you may have to remove the axle cover and replace the oil and additive (LS diff) after recovering the part(s).
Thanks to all who responded so quickly. I was finally able to get the unit out of the rear differential intact. The drill and screw method worked well.
Now I am back in the same situation I started. The ABS light is still on and the transmission shifts hard when it finally decides to shift. Originally the over drive light came on as well but did not drive it enought after replacing the abs unit to see if it still comes on.
I know there a some threads out there about the abs light and the hard shifting all being related to the ABS unit. However, the search is broken for the site and thus I am unable to take a look at them. I hate to ask since I know it has already been asked, but does anybody have any ideas what I should look into next that might solve this problem. I check out the fuses and they all look good and I see no unplugged wires. Any suggestions can only help.
