Did anyone figure out a source of the leak? Having the same problem.
I removed the plastic intake air grille and found the leak was around the plastic grommets that the grille screws thread into. I put lotsa silicone around those grommets and fixed the leak.

It could be the seal around the widshield. I had that problem after I got the truck and hed the seal replaced. however, it still leaked down the inside in the gap between the dash and inside panel. I found that if the windshield isn't lined up just right it will leak. I had it resealed and the second time they got it right. So there could be the possibility that that's what could be causing the water leak.
my 1978 has a similar problem, the winshield was replaced but nothing changed, it rains my floor is wet, does anybody know where the vent intake (that thing between the hood and windshield) drains? it seems to me that is a possible thing to consider

Was the windshield lined up right? Cuz on my truck the water runs down the inside of the "A" post and down the side to the floor.
