cats? yes or no
i went to the exhaust shop the other day and the guy told me that if i take my cats off my truck it wont run right.. I wanted to get flowmaster true dules. i have a 99 f150 with the 4.2. i was just seeing what you guys thought/might of tried.

I left my cats on with true duals.Truck sounds good, and I wouldn't remove the cats due to emissions.Not only that, you would have to fool the computer without the o2 sensors.So with that said,remove the cats, the o2 sensors would wreck havoc with the computer unless you bypass the 02 sensors.It's been done, but the gains are minimal.
