seat swap

looking for seat to put in my 49 ford, any suggestions on a good fit/swap, orginal is broken and rusted.

1968 Che*y II bench seat fits perfectly. Mine is the only non-Ford part on the entire truck, but it fit too well to not use.

I have also heard of guys using Bronco II buckets and another guy a while back in these posts was installing an entire Sebring power interior.

Are the interiors from 48-52 the same?

As far as I know, the cabs were extremely similar for all of the fat fender '50s trucks. I would be very surprised if the measurements were different between 48 - 52 (48-56?)

Kenny would know for certain...

helped a buddy do his 48 F47.Got a split bench out of early 80's Granada 2-door.Perfect width,had fold down armrest,seat back flipped forward with map pockets in back.

I used Astro Van buckets in a 50 F1. I thought they looked nice. Used an Aerostar shifter (302/AOD combo) and it had a Cadillac Tilt/Telescope Column. Used the Astro seat belts and retractors by bolting them to the cab. Even hooked up the Courtesy lights on the retractors.
