windshield wipers?
I have a 2001 sportrac with goofy wipers.
one day all positions will work, then only high speed the next few weeks, then to all positions again.
were to start looking? switch at colum? elsewhere?

Remove the steering column covers.. remove the two bolts that hold on the multifunction (wiper/turn signal) switch.. pull the switch back and make sure all the contacts in the connectors are fully seated in place. You might try calling your dealership with your VIN number, as I think I remember some kind of recall on these awhile back.
