Least expensive is to go to a muffler shop and let them weld on a universal cat.

Unfortunately this may set a code, as it may not be efficient enough for a direct replacement.

The RIGHT way to do it is get one through the dealer (but very expensive) or a direct-fit that is OBDII compatible.

Good luck

I have a 96 V8 explorer that had 4 cats on it.. i had a muffler shop cut all four cats out and weld in pipe in their place and it didnt' set a check engine light off.

That's cheapest way to do it.. It was $20 a cat

CarlsonCustoms.. I don't know how that's possible without setting a catalyst efficiency code... let alone ILLEGAL...

unless you aren't in the United States...

Are you sure it wasn't a 1995.. non-obdii?
