The picture doesn't do it justice. sure it is multi colour but the body is staight and the 239 strong. If you are wondering yes, the tow bar got the ol'throw away. I drove her home the 20 or so miles, older gas though.
I think it's the one, I love the flathead growel.

Oh yes I did pay Scrap metal price for it.

Looks like a sweet old truck not the greatest shape but i agree the body looks straight and stuff another one to add to the collection congrats

Are you trying to get a truck every year from 48-69? Looks not bad. I wonder how they got the 48-50 hood to fit since the hood latches are total different. At least it is a Mercury hood. Looks like the truck has the deluxe cab due to the chrome window trim. I technically have a spare hood and front Mercury trim but I don't want to part with yet.

Looks very rust free and a great start, don`t let it waste away but drive it once in awhile next summer. It was a great price by the way.

the half ton a couple hundered seized but all there except the hood.
The stub nose 500 ran rough but ran and complete
Congrats dueller you are right it is a deluxe cab

How is this for plans dark blue and black fenders aluminum stacks and alot of truck style lights, hopefully it'll be at cruise weekend

That sounds neat with the polished wood deck and polished aluminum aluminum sides, polished aluminum back panel and front headache rack with running lights. Outa sight!

probably a stupid question, but did they sell everything from there? i'd really love to pick up that stub nose heh heh... i tried emailing but no response im assuming its sold tho..
