Got into my 93 E150 the other day, after it has sat for a few months, and I have no heat, or defrost. The heat works on vent, but no air comes out the floor, or defog vents at all. Im assuming a mouse or something get into it, and chewed a vac line, but I cant find the vac acctuators for the defog/floor doors. Anyone have any pictures, or have a idea where they are, or how to get to them? Any other ideas? Winter's coming and I need defog! Thanks for any help.
If it's stopping completely then you have a blockage in the ductwork. I'd pull the box out and use a vacuum to get any and all debris out of the ducts. It sounds like there was a bigger nest than you thought. The vacuum motors are all working, if they weren't you would have only the vent.
That's a restriction in the ductwork. You may have to pull the instrument cluster and heater controls out to find it. You could also take the door off the inside of the heater box and use an air compressor to blow air in through the defroster ducts, this would help in locating the problem.
