Lift Kit

I'm going to lift my 85 f150 and 89 f150 and was wondering what would be the cheapest easiest way to lift them. the 89 is just for off-road use, the 85 i want to keep semi nice. also does anyone know a cheap way to get some lift in the front end cheap... ...its coil sprung. any advice would be helpfull. thanks

get the springs off of a f-250 2wd for the front end of your F-150 and then just get blocks for the rear for the off road use one.

kind of just depends on how high you want to go with them, best and safest thing to so would be buy some lift kits that coem with leaf springs but there kind of expensive.

dont use blocks if you plan on off roading big time the create way to much axle wrap. When you go cheap than you get poor performance. if you only go 4in with the with the 85 just buy the kit comes with front coils and rear add-a-leaf. And never stack blocks.

Sorry to jump on this thread. But, if he uses coils from a F-250 will he need to upgrade his shocks to F-250 shocks? or will the original size work?

a good rule to follow is the taller you go the longer the shocks so you wont short change your self when your articulating.
