glass is a pure or nearly pure fused compound Si O2, a brick is a sintered (not fused)mixture of compounds with no specific proportions basically a manmade rock. Granted the majority of a brick is composed of a mix of silicon containing materials as is most of the earth.

Actually, glass is an amorphous inorganic in molecular structure and by that definition, so would be a brick. The contents, all or part, of silica was what I was referring to.
That's a classic argument, fact is no one has been able to prove the very slow moving liquid theory since they have never been able to find a piece of historical glass that shows any measurable flow has occured.
