bronco stalled

Today I was leaving school and had just got to a stop sign and my truck(wich had been running fine all day)up and stalled.I was at the top of a hill pointing downward when it happened, could this have had something to do with the occurance? could the feul have ran to a part of the tank where it became inaccessable? has anyone else expearanced this? p.s. it is an 89 bronco W/a 351w and EFI.

yeah,it ran fine afterwards but today it it wouldn't start.I had to crank the engine for a couple of minutes just to get it to fire.usually all I have to do is touch the key and it starts right up. this time it was on a level surface.as for gas I should have at least 5 gal.

that site will show you how to pull codes. codes will tell you whats wrong. with out codes you will be wasting money sensors and stuff that may be fine. when was it tuned up last with new plugs, wires, cap and rotor? might need a new fuel filter. do you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key on?

sounds to me like a fuel pump issue, i think there are 2 pumps on those trucks one in the tank and one along the framerail (near the door) and if one quits on ya it may cause it to stall.

Not sure but just a thought, may want to check them both to see if they are working right.
