Excursion Guys, pay attention to this subject during the next few days. It could very well be something some of you might be interested in. The emblems are beautiful!
Here's a quick photoshop I did. This is what the emblem could have looked like for the Explorer, Excursion and some of the other 4X4 trucks.
I think FORD trims too many corners trying to cut costs. I had to purchase the V10 Triton emblems for my front fenders. Would have been nice to have them on there from the factory. They use to put them on some of the F250 and F350 models.

Some people like certain things just for appearance.
99.9% of the population has no idea what FX4 means, and would assume it means 4X4.
I am definitely in that percentile. I've seen it on trucks a zillion times but had no idea what it meant. So is it just a designation for specially off-road equipped such as Chevy's Z-71 package or what? Anyway, I prefer my Excursion to have no emblems at all.
Edit: I see I have no clue how to remove pictures from quotes!
I think it looks good on a modded one like pictured. It would look even better in 2 door model with a removable top, a solid drop down tailgate with a power rear window, and a swing out spare tire rack.

I believe the FX4 package (very similar to GM's Z71) got you skidplates, Rancho shocks, and a sticker. Was available on 1/2 tons and Super dutys. Never Excursions.
