Yes, that is the part. But how can I make sure I get the red one like below?
I have no vin#. I want some of them to put on my Excursion. You know where thre Z71 is on a Suburban or Tahoe? I plan to put 2 on the side of my Excursion like that, and one on the right rear door. I love the OEM FX4 look. The brownish color in the numeral 4 will match my Mineral Gray color real well.

The photo is from eBaY. On a 2003 Expedition.
But I suspect the owner of the 2003 ordered a newer plate (2006 or 2007?) and simply added it to his Expedition. And from the appearance I suspect it is OEM original equipment. It is a 3D plate, not a cheap thin decal. I have also seen one on a newer model red Expedition in my city this week.
The 2007 parts list has 5 or 6 listed, but there's no way to tell which one is which color. They list for $23.00 I believe. I am ready to buy 3.
ps - Thanks for the time you are devoting to this. You should identiy all of them and the various colors and start selling them on eBaY, I think it would be a hot item for Ford owners to use on 4X4 trucks, Excursions, Explorers and Expeditions.
ok, per that trucks vin number the part is 2L1Z 7842528-ABB but catalog listed is as black and silver. I even pulled up the build sheet and that is the part listed there also.
i'll keep checking, because now the catalog is pissing me off.
If it comes in to you in "red and brown", I will call you with shipping address and payment information.
And if it comes in "red and brown", automatically order me 2 more and just hold the first one so as to ship all 3 together.
I asked the guy on eBaY if it was OEM and came on his 2003, but he hasn't answered me back yet.
(I still think these emblems would sell like hot cakes to Explorer, Expedition, Excursion and FORD 4X4 truck owners nationwide. Even with the large FX4 decals on some 4X4 trucks, these emblems would be a nice addition to the tailgates of the same trucks.)

The person from eBaY responded back. It seems it did come on his 2003 and is OEM.....
