tranny fluid

Am I crazy? or is my User Manual? I'm about to go to the store to get oil for my 6-speed. I want to do all the fluids in the truck just so I know when they were done. The manual says MERCON ATF??? for a manual transmission, i'm supposed to put automatic transmission fluid?????

some help here please. I was going to go with sythetic, whatever it may end u being. Anybody know of any problems doing that?

Synthetic should be fine. Alot of manual transmissions are built to run on ATF. It really doesn't suprise me, technology these days makes most things possible.
