Question about Opera

Question about Opera
I used to use Opera all the time when I had a desktop PC, loved it. I purchased a Gateway laptop about a year ago and tried to intstall Opera the other day. For some reason, it will not let me scroll with my touchpad. I have to either use the arrow keys or grab the scroll bar. It's kind of annoying, I'm so used to being able to use the scroll wheel like device on the touchpad.
I went to the Opera website and saw that others have the same problem. The only fix they have though seems to be for IBM laptops. Has anyone else had any encounters with this problem?
