Fords mental migets got involved and screwed up the whole basic number system a few years ago and now it is a crap shoot as to what fits what using the prefix anymore. They haven't got to G7TZ numbers yet, but I liked it when you had C7TZ and you knew the was for a 1967 pickup, or E9AZ and you could assume that was for a 89 Crown Vic, just walk over to self and pull part and sell it, don't try that now.

What I want to know is what
Mental Giant at Ford labeled the part I am looking for as "silver and black".
It sure did cause a lot of confusion in identifying the part.
Whoever it was, they are probably sitting up at Ford headquarters making about $150,000 a year to screw up parts listings.
