Question Resized non adj. pushrods ?

a little confused, was just putting the ducks in a row expecting the worst for the review this weekend. Wanted to call NAPA and see if they have over/undersized pushrods, pricing, availability - etc...

Answer: yes we have "nine & half" 9.5" and "nine & five eights" 9.625"

Puzzle: if my details are correct the stock ones are 9.59"
9.59 - 9.5 = .09 under 9.625 - 9.59 = .035 over
why is the shorter rod so undersized? nearly 3 times...

with preload at .050 - .150 for the 65-67 352 FE it would seem there would be a larger menu. (.015, .030, .045, .060)

Info - Leads ??? TIA

I guess they figure if you cut the heads, it would make sense you'd need shorter more often then longer?

I've never had to deal with non-adjustables before so I'm shoot'n from the hip here.

Try a different parts store? Have 'em look them up for a different motor (360, 390, etc)?

Part number were taken from Checker Auto Part site, some were listed for a 1975 390 and the last three were for a 1968 352. Some pushrods brands were Clevite, Crane, and the basic brand.
