squeaking after going through water

hello when i start up my 98 f-150 4x4 it squeaks tell warmed up then goes away and if let cool down it does it again it is more of a bearing squeak . i used a piece of garden hose to narrow down the squeak it is around the ac pump. my qusetion is is there bearings in the clutch part of the ac pump and do i have to pull the ac pump off to fix ? i had to go through 2 1/2 or 3 feet of water to get out the water was starting to push the truck side ways.we had a flood almost got into the house it was at floor level so i have a lot of work under the house and yard i didnt have time to do much water rose 2 feet a hour the water was waist deep in the back yard i got my coupe up enough to keep water out of the motor. wifes ****** pu wasnt so lucky . thanks kelly

Glad to be of help. You would not have been able to search right now because the webmaster has the search feature turned off except for supporters right now because of server issues. See this thread.

The bearings should be sealed so spraying it probably will not help. It was likely on its way out prior to the water eppisode which when it got into the bearing, made it more evident.
