3.73s will cause the einge to spin slower than the optional 4.30s.
Open Differential (non-limited slip) means you have no locking device or anti-slip device or traction aid device (whatever you want to refer to it as) to aid in either transferring power to the wheel that ain't slipping or "locking" the two wheels together in those low traction situations.
With an Open Diff, power is sent to both wheels and both wheels apply power to the gound (contrary to popular myth) until one loses traction. Then all the power gets sent to that wheel making you STUCK.
