Flahing the PCM?
I am thinking about buying a used chip. The seller says "you will have to get ur pcm flashed for it to work i think. because its flashed for mine. i dont know much about it".

First off I am not the expert on this, I have been looking into it though.
I don't know why you would flash you PCM to install a chip.
In my case I am thinking about flashing my PCM instead of getting a chip thru DP tuning.
I have heard some good results from doing this.
Since I dont pull a trailer or haul anything bigger than two dirtbikes, I really don't think I need a chip or a tuner.
