Different pulley setup?

Admittedly, I've not seen many of these trucks. However, I was poking around a salvage yard yesterday and saw a different setup with respect to the pulleys:

Four grooves on the crank, two on the alternator, two on the water pump, and one each on the a/c compressor and power steering pump.

Anyone ever seen such a setup?

Hate to have to ask, but would you like to leave a couple clues, as to what you may have been looking at or is this a trick question?

Yes...truck (car?) had a dual belt alternator.

It was a '74 ford pickup truck, not sure what size engine.

Boy you are a barrel of fun, is it a V4, V6 or I-8 engine?

T-Bird FEs & F-600 with the FT engines are belted that way and I think some of the 429/ 460s running 95amp Alts are too.

Alt + W-Pump + balancer use a double set up. The P/S & A/C Comp use singles all in dedicated grooves.

Sorry, John. Not trying to be cute. The engine is a v8. The belts ran as follows:

The belts on the two pulleys on the alternator ran to two of the pulleys on the crank.

The belt on the water pump ran to a third pulley on the crank.

The fourth belt ran around the a/c compressor, idler/tension pulley, and power steering pump.

Hey man, I aint trying to bust your chops either. As the mod I try to guide things along for the greater good of the forum. We can not see the truck like yourself, and having a good explaination helps us provide the answers that posters desire.

Like Pete, I had a good idea of your setup, but wanted you to verify.
