Manual Hubs

I am thinking about changing my auto, vacum controlled hubs to manual, more reliable ones. Any suggestions on brands, special tools, or other tips would be appreciated.

Sorry, I know this has been brought up before, but I could not find any info during a search..

i went with the warn premium hubs... top of the line in my opinon...great looking durable and you can tell just by holding them... they are a much heavier better built hub... kinda pricey though but worth the money ... do it right the first time...very easy to do just make sure you plug the vacum lines goin to the old ones or your pump will run 24/7

I also went with the premiums. They are very heavy duty, and have no regrets buying them. However, I am going to replace them with the standards. The premiums have a 9/10 of a turn to lock and unlock, and up here when it get really cold, it can become a pain. Plus with my big fingers, the selctor **** is almost too small for me. Other then that it is a really good hub, and very easy to install.

Wink Where do Warn hubs mount on a 7.3L engine?

So where on a 1999 - 2003 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel do you mount these Warn hubs?

The Warn hubs replace the stock hubs on the front wheels. Should be a direct swap and the kit is all you will need.

You could also go with Mile Marker Stainless Steel. I forgot the number but they worked good for me and they were cheaper!

powrstrkn has it right, I normally post issues not related to the 7.3 there, but I get a lot more feedback here. It might be a different case if a post was asking about hubs on a gasser.
