Don't say throw it away, it's like new, a 2 stroke.
I have a Mcculloch Super Airstream IV Blower (must be 10 years old), the primer bulb went jelly soft and ripped. It should be a Walbro carb but I don't see a model number visible, not wanting to take it apart but replace the primer.
Anyone know the carb model number and where I can locate a primer bulb?
The old one looks like a bucket not dome style with a metal plate retained by 2 screws. Thanks in advance, Carl....=o&o>.....

I tried McCulloch sites and come up with a thick black plastic frame around the primer, not like what I have. It will start and run if I hold the primer to seal the tear so I want to replace primer not a carb rebuild kit. If I knew what kit to use I would have the carb model number.
Even when new it never had the compression of Stihl motors.
try googling "primer bulbs" or "walbro primer bulbs". looks like they're about 3-4 bucks and they have them with and without that black frame you're saying.
don't mean to jump in but i'm having a similar problem with my homelite backpack blower, it's not blowing full force. if i hit the primer, it will go good for a while, then it loses power again. i'm guessing it's not getting enough fuel or the float is sticking or something but it's just a guess. i want to get some people's opinions before i go playing with it. this thing is used maybe 3 or 4 seasons. i've always run it clean with the fuel stabilizer before storing it, starts good. it just seems to be working just a little below full power and not picking up the crap as good as it was before
Picked up a primer bulb today for $5.43 and installed. The carb was dry for weeks and it ran like crap when started until at high rpm's and a thumb over the carb sucked passages clear. The good thing this carb has high and low speed adjustments besides idle speed. Runs great again.
Seems many parts for these carbs interchange.
Thanks for the input.
