2002 Ranger Power Steering problem
Just installed a new 3.0 in friend's Ranger. I had the power steering pump out, and lost a bunch of fluid. I reinstalled it, added fluid, but now it hardly works. I assume I got a bunch of air in the system- how do I get it out?

Fill the pump reservoir with fluid to the full line. With the engine running at idle turn the steering wheel all the way to the left till it stops then turn it all the way to the right till it stops. Check the fluid level and fill as needed. You may need to turn it all the way both ways again a time or two to get all the air out, but it should be acting normal by then.
