Holy Crap!
So this starts last night when I decided to pull some codes.
P1247 Turbo Pressure Boost Low
P1248 Turbo Boost Pressure Not Detected
P1211 Inject. Control Pressure Above/Below Desired
First thing I did was tighten my boots that were considerably loose on the hot side.
Then wham, boost up to 28 psi. Wow. I've never been past 19-20 psi nor have I tried. I never even realized that I had a problem.
Anyhow, I tried to pull codes after my trip in to work today and nothing. I was hoping that I would not have to get a new MAP sensor as well.
Anyone else every have a similar experience?
I am going to pull codes daily to see of any of them come back...

the 1211 could just be from the tune Jody calls for higher ICP than stock.
Unless you have a blockage between the map hose connection on the Y and the map sensor it is probably the map. If your gauge is reading correctly look between its tap and the MAP if the gauge is reading low check the Turbo (EBPV stuck, Wastegate stuck, dusted wheel, ect)

So I pulled codes again tonight and nothing new. Is it possible that the p1248 was just a side effect?

shenders99,
p1211 is as what amiller93 explained.
(p1248, 1247) - Description- turbo boost pressure low, turbo boost pressure not detected.
Known causes- Turbo MAP hose, sensor, EBP sys, intake leaks.
This is what I took straight from the ford OBDII codes lists.
let us know what you find.
Diane

Update:
I cleared the codes last night and found that my boots were considerably loose.
I initially never experienced more than 20 pounds of boost and can now get it over 26 pounds. That was obviously the p1247 problem.
I understand that the P1211 could be the DP Chip.
I ran it hard (no trailer) today and check for more codes but found none. I wonder if the MAP is okay and p1248 a side effect.

I would keep an eye on it but as long as it doesn't return you shoul dbe OK. What are you using to pull codes? if it has the ability to monitor PID's you can keep an eye on MAP while driving to be sure you are not getting an intermittant failure

I am using my old edge evo. I think that it can monitor things. I would like to pick up AE though.

Then they have no idea how the systems on the powerstrokes work.
ICP monitors the high pressure oil system that drives the injectors. it has nothing to do with Fuel pressure

1211 is common when using a programmer all it means is the ICP is reporting an oil pressure outside of the range expected for the given throtle position and boost level

Just that annoying SES light (and that nagging knowledge that you could have more power with Big Oil which would get rid of the light and code).
