When i powerboost is it ok to launch at 20 or more psi?
by the way my cat & mffler delete pipe with turbo back mbrp is coming tomorrow CANT WAIT!!!!!!!
Whatever your brakes can hold. Usually it's a traction issue. I think most launch between 1800 and 2100 rpm's. I launch much lower because I have a one wheel peeler. I can however spin the tires to 70mph with no problem.
Yes, it's definitely abusive to the whole drive train to do so. Kinda like winding up a motor and dumping the clutch really hard. You can feel the whole truck just cringe when it happens.

HAHA now that is funny. I have the same thing...complete with Limited-slip wording(and price) on widow sticker and LS tag on diff housing....I just love my Ford LS rear end I paid extra for....POS for sure. Nothing like a loud exhaust, black and white(tire) smoke, and the insulting single black stripe.
YEAH that is really cool..

you might have to much friction modifier in the diff fluid causing this.

Does Ford make a habit of this? Only 28K and running it the way I bought it. Also did have it checked when they were replacing the "out of round" driveshaft that Ford also decided to give me with the build. The dealer told me "working as designed".
Thanks for the advise but lets just call it what it is, a cheap rear-end. But it gets the truck going so I figure Oh well. Just have to be careful in the rain.."I AM THE ONE WHEEL PEEL KING....!!!" I think that is good? Right???? NOT!!!

Its not going to hurt it, so long as you don't sit there stalled all day long.
no it wont hurt doing it a few times, but it does cause more heat to build more rapidly because the trans is forced to slip. also the eccessive slipping over a period of time leads to increase wear and decreased life which leads to a unhappy owner.

it is not a cheap axle. it is on of danas great axles. if nothing else, due the fluid yourself. a one wheel peel is not normal for a ls axle. thats why it is called a LIMITED slip.
I changed the diff. fluid on my 2005 limited slip and didn't add any friction moidifier. Before this it wouldn't even turn both wheels on wet grass. Dealer said this was normal. Yea right. Test drove in figure eights after no noise or clutch chatter. Did a burnout two black stripes on dry pavement!
