7 days @ shop and still won't start

Well I have been having a problem with my 01 power stroke, It will not start.
The truck will just sit there and turn, but will not fire. Work done to date is 2 new batterys, slionid, starter, glow plug relay, fuel filter, heater relay in manifold, removal of securty system-remote starter. It has been at the shop for 7 days and I can't keep it there much longer. Any one have any ideas before I make the shop tow it to the dealer.
Thanks in advance
Pat

Have you checked for codes? Have you tried a new CPS? My first suggestion is get it out of that shop and NOT to a dealer...

I would try the CPS before any more is done to the truck. If it still does not start, you now have your spare CPS, set it aside. Keep us posted...

I just went back and looked at your earlier post, Have they ever checked the HP oil system? or IDM power relay or IDM or PCM and all of the fuses and relays under the dash and hood After the no key spinning starter episode.

I have not checked the the hp oil system, I have checked all the fuses though. I am not the most tech guy you have ever met but I can normally get it figured out. I will call the shop and tell them to check the IDM amd PCM first thing. Thanks for the help.

Is that remote start system still connected and is it one of the anti-theft and alarm varieties?

Watch that shop close, it sound like they are shotgunning parts rather than diagnostic tests

He removed it Tenn

maybe your uvc harness have come disconnected or broke so your no power is getting to your injectors or glow plugs. does it smoke when you turn it over?

Ya I had a liltle blow up today at the shop and I now feel that we are all on the same page. I have delt with this shop many times before with my 89 f-350 dumper and they have been good to me. I told them to plug it in and to the diagnostic and figure it out or they can tow it to the dealer. I just need this truck back I ahve a lot of work to do before the snow flys.
Thanks
Pat

It only smokes for less than 15 seconds. If it is still cold it has no power at all you can floor it and it goes no where.
Thanks

You got me wondering about the tack not working while cranking if the CPS is bad.. so I just check mine and the tack does not move while cranking and i am quite sure my CPS is good.. I just replace it a while back and the engine runs perfect..

I think so but I can not recall 100 % since I have not had the truck in so long. But the good news is that the tech went to ford school. I think he needs to
Thanks
