Cleaning IAC and MAF

Have read some threads about that IAC and MAF can be a source for problems.

Want to be ahead of problems, so I thought I might clean them.

But I really need to know how to do this, and what kind of product I should use to get them clean, and not destroyed.

Any tip, guys?

I suppose you already know where they are and how to remove them, so I'll cut to the chase.
On the IAC, you can use carb cleaner and a soft cleaning brush. Let the cleaner set for awhile and then spray it again. Then you can start using the brush...makes it easier to remove the buildup. Make sure it's good and dry, then reinstall with a new gasket...unless you're absolutely sure the existing gasket isn't damaged, which I would bet you need to get a new one beforehand.

The MAF - just remove and spray the hound out of the sensor wires with Electronic Contact Cleaner - the non-residue type - then reinstall.

Nothing to it. You're doing right by pulling PM on them both.
