hey i have a 93 f-250 withthe 7.3 i was wondering how high shouldit rev before the govener shuts it off? Mine tachs 3500 before govener stops it... is that abut right rpm? Can i hurt the engine by reatching that rpm?

Wide open no load engine speed I have seen set as high as 3555 RPM.
The redline is actually 3600, yellow caution between 3300 and 3600.

Mine spins about 3750 or so under load, no load, I'd have to check....
