Please be a little more specific about what you don't like with the 5". I have a 3.5-4" magnaflow straight piped that's got a little rumble at idle or cruising down the highway and not really objectionable in the cab, but get on it and wow does it talk to ya. What brand of exhaust do you have on it now?

im sorry i guess i dont like the whistle at idle it sounds like a jet getting ready for take off. also i dont like how my fuel mileage has dropped drastically. my 5" is from shop diesel.com and is just 3.5 down pipe and 5 inch all the way to the back

That's pretty normal for an A/M exhaust to have the whistle at idle. I don't understand the drop in mileage though. Strange. Maybe someone else can comment on that. I would think it would pick up mileage....not drop off.
