Hey, Im wondering if you can bolt a 99 and up 7.3 Garrett turbo on a 94 and a half international Turbo diesel?? Or is the one on the 94 1/2 acually a better turbo. I noticed a size difference, but thats the casing not the wheel so are they the same size or different?

No, the 99 and up are not a direct bolt on. You have to change the up pipes, down pipe, and I'm not sure about the pedistal. The 99 and up are a wastegated turbo. Ours are not. Our compressor wheels are an upgrade for the SD guys. I can't say our turbo's are better, but I would see no reason to put one of theirs on. Just my opinion.

yeah you need the pedistal too, the latemodel van turbo is an upgrade. the superduty turbo flows more air and has a smaller exhaust housing on it. marginal gains have been made with that turbo on the obs's but the larger gain would be the van turbo.
