direct replacement axle?
I have a '99 F150 4x4. I have a S918A replacement for the S829A. The S829A is a 8.8" 3.55 ratio. The S918A is a 9.75" 3.55 ratio. Sounded good until I looked inside. Looks like the S918 does not have limited slip. I could use some help interpeting the tag numbers. I don't think I want the S918... I get 3 wheel drive instead of 4 wheel drive?
