Nice place ya have here!
I'm the proud new owner of a 1963 F250 and am extremely happy this place exists!
I won it on Ebay friday, the seller was EXTREMELY honest about the truck on the phone. Probably since the description wasn't too detailed....
Minimal rust and very clean it seemed to scream I'm your truck from the first look at the photos...
I'm looking for pics of the original style wheels and tires as I kinda want it to look as original as possible.
It will be my daily driver but I do plan a restification. My shop will have an 88 E250 for sale soon with the FI 4.9/aod so I may pick that up for a drivetrain donor to bring it up to modern specs.
I'll have pics up as soon as I figure out how to do the gallery(unless I can post em in the thread?)..
After looking at the pics...I'd like to know what the DSO code reads...as that truck with the (optional) earlier long bed was probably special ordered by some one.
ND, That was the only long bed available on the 63, pretty sure it was not an option. This was the time that Ford was having a better idea with the UNI that was a complete flop. It was 64 when the new bed was introduced and used through 66.

John
That bed sure seems longer than the 8 footer on my '65 F100..especially after the rear wheels .The wheelbase on the pictured truck appears to be the standard 133 inches.
Geez..my memory is getting bad...that is the correct bed style for a 63. I drove one when I was a parts driver.

I was wondering about the bed myself so I went and cruised the galleries here. Was starting to think it was wrong until I found a pic of a 63 F350 4x4 with the same one. I'll post up the DSO info when it gets here.
We have been looking for a NICE older Ford truck since I was forced to sell my Indy truck, That was 3 years ago!!!
Can't wait to get it home, It's in Springfield Il now and it's a 4hr drive back up to me.... Should be fun with the short gears out back!
I think we're going to take Rt 66 back so we don't get run down on I55!

Your truck has probably been on Route 66 before.
Wacker Drive in Chicago to Santa Monica Blvd at Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica.
Thanks!! I'm picking it up from near you actually(it's not really in Springfield...)
I'll be giving it a good once over with my bondo detector as soon as it gets home so I know what it needs body wise, I know the passenger fender is rotted at the bottom but everything else seems solid.
Can't get it till next sunday and it's KILLIN me!!!
