SD Glove Box Light
After 3 months of ownership, I just noticed that the glovebox has no courtesy light in it. WTF? My '79 Lariat had a light, but not a King Ranch? Anyway, has anyone installed one of these after the fact? It looks like it has the hole for the mounting already, just nothing in it.

I saved this from a post last year on the glove box light. I haven't installed one yet, its low on my list.
Here is what I wrote in a different post, hope it helps. "E7DZ-14413-A Switch and Lamp...I paid $11.31, they had it in-stock. Remove "trash bag hook" to access wires for cig lighter, that is where I spliced in power and ground, very easy. Supplies 2- 15" pieces of 16ga. wire (room for slack) , 2-female tab connectors, 2-wire taps. Almost a plugnplay...connect wire to back of switch with tab connectors, push wires though mounting hole, plug light in hole, fish wires to "hook" opening, tap in cig wires, replace "hook" and your good to go. Hope this helps you with the completion of assembling your SD kit, I only need to do the hood blanket then mine is assembled
