hey i got an electric transfercase on my 94 bxlt but cant get it to work in low range where should i start to trouble shoot ? it works good in high range !
Yeah, the computer will refuse to shift into 4LO if those conditions aren't met. If you did somehow manage shift into 4LO without doing all of that the transfercase would probably be obliterated.
The sensors started to go bad in my last truck with auto $$$. Even though I have been left down with the auto transfer and hubs I bought the truck any way. I've had these trucks new with auto transfer and they were trouble then. Not alone 10 + years of use. My "new" truck I replaced transfer and hubs first week I got it. I'm not walking home at 3:00 pm agian. Well hope something simple.

i bought my 96 4x4 and on the way home i stopped by the local truck shop and bought some mile marker premiums and put them right in, wouldnt leave home without manuals, and some bad experiences in a blazer where they would lock up in 2wd and almost yank the wheel out of my hand goin down the road
ok guys i got it ! thanks for all the info your a great bunch . i put the truck in 4 placed it in neutral hit low r. and it made a thump and the light came on . for some reason it decided to start working . the poor old bronc has been used and abused but still has a lot of life left in it . now i have another question . when i start the bronc it has a lot more power than after it warms up seams to be slugish and going down the freeway it boggs down in over d to the point it shifts back then the next grade it does it again should i check ratio in dif's or programing in the tranny.? and yes i will be supporting this site soon its saved me more than i can count.
