i have a 95 f150 4x4 and it already ahs a lieveling kit and a 2 inch body lift. but i was wondering if how much lift do i need to be able to put 36s on my truck with a pretty good amount of clearance. i already have 33s on the truck but they rub when i tuurn the wheel hard. should i go with a 6 or 8 inch lift
36's would need 8" of lift...which is really pushing it on the stock suspension.
With the TTB suspension, the axle pivot points have to go lower and lower the more you lift it.
If you're going to go that route, a solid axle conversion is highly recommended. Be sure to check out our suspension forum (and other forums) for additional information. They discuss the solid axle swap quite often over there.
