e40d vss????
Alright ive been reading the e40d forums hits and I cant find exactly what im looking for. Im workin on my buddies truck while hes in iraq. hes got a 95 f150 4x4 strait axle conversion. Last year we replaced his stock rear end with a 79' dana 60, the set up ran good for a while, but got to a point where youd drive down the road and the truck would seem like it was shifting into neutral. I'd be goin 45 and all the sudden nothing motor would rev fine but nothing. Its not a slipping feeling just like the tranny shifted back into neutral. We'd have to manually shift the trans into neutal turn the truck off, recrank it and put it back in gear while running to be able to drive on. Sry so long. Ive heard the vss would do this, but i dont have a vss???? how was this truck even running without a vss???? Whats wrong with this truck? (No spedo no o/d)
