Yesterday my truck just quit for about 10 seconds, ses came on, truck came back to life and ses disappeared. This happened 3 times within 10 minutes. I pulled out the Predator and hooked it up to scan for codes but none were there. I drove it the rest of the day without any other problems. Does this sound like the CPS is on its way out? I do carry a new spare that I figured that I would put in this morning and see if it happens again.
That was my first guess too. I just thought I would check with people here as they are much more knowledgable than I am with these trucks. I will change it out this morning and order up another new on to have on hand. Thanks.
Ok I changed the CPS and it is still doing it, except this time I noticed that it was still showing around 600 on the tach with an SES and no throttle response. Anyone have any ideas?

That would indicate the TPS failed (Throttle Position Sensor) it is part of the go pedal assembly.
