What engines share parts

I am new here just getting used to your sight. I have a 1967 f-100
with a 300 straight 6. I have a chance to buy an engine out of a 1967
mustang, the owner says it is a 200,but it is complete. How many if any of these
parts will fit my engine. Manifolds etc. thanks Paul

Not many if any. Go to the main forum and look at the engine sections. The engines of the same family are grouped together in one forum.

Thumbs up

1st off Welcome to FTEs 67-72 forum page, as John likes to say the Nations #1 FoMoCo Truck Information Stop. . . . .

Actually Nothing from a 200 will fit. It's an entirely different engine family.

Maybe if you add your location to your profile, someone that lives close to you might have a truck engine available and could email you off list about it.

FordBoypete is right... the two hundred is a completly different cat... if I remember right either the intake or the exhaust is cast integral with the head... been about 30 years since I've seen one. The 240 and the 300 are in the same family if I'm not mistaken but I'm not sure how many parts will interchange here also
