Hello,
This is my first post on this forum so I am grtateful for any help.
I am going to install an electric brake controller in my 1999 F-350 Crew cab dually.
It appears that it had a controller installed before I bought it.
What color wires are in the factory harness to attach to the controller?
Are they located by the electical distribution box under the hood? The truck has a seven pin harness in the bed and in the bumper.
Thanks Chilli
Well not absoluty sure about the 99 but in my 02 there is an adaptor harness that you wire the controller too and then it just plugs in under the dash above the gas pedal. I am sure somone else will chime in with a definitive answer.

There should be a plug like JGRNAUT said. It would be behind the dash where the 4x4 switch would be. I had a little trouble finding mine since it had never been used.
I have a 99, and when I put the brake controller in, you you had to remove the plate under the steering wheel. If you look on the right hand side you will see a hole that leads to a cavity behind the radio. The connector is tied up right through the hole and is in plain view.
