Clicking Noise

I have a 1996 Explorer. When i turn on my lights or climate control i get loud clicking noises. The more i turn on the louder the noise. I've replaced the alternator and got the same noise. What could this possibably be?

Check the voltage at the battery with the engine running. It should be around 14 volts. Does revving the engine help it go away?
