hi all, i was just wondering if ford makes a fog light kit to bolt onto an 06 f150 that wasnt originally equipped with them in the front bumper, or is aftermarket the only way to go? thanks in advance.

If you look closely underneath where the fog lamps are supposed to go you will find the factory wiring harness tucked in somewhere. All you will have to do is buy the appropriate headlamp switch and the foglights and you should be good to go. Most manaufacturers dont bother wiring there vehicles differently for different options. They usually just wire them up for all the marbles and then install the options as demand dictates.
I believe that your also going to have to swap out the bumper to one that has the foglight holes. Not 100% sure on the 06's, but 04 and 05 would need it changed.

Depends on the model....Most of them have the holes available...they are just empty.
My '04 does not have the holes in it. I checked into doing fog lights on my truck for the "factory look" and found out that I would have to replace my front bumper. Along with buying a few other items. That all mighty total dollar figure will be YOUR deciding factor as well.
