Removing E4OD shift lever
The plastic end that holds the OD on/off button on my shifter broke off. I've located one in a junk yard and need to know how to get to and remove it. 1996 F250 E4OD

You have to take the Big plastic cover off of the coloumn by takeing the screws out from the bottom and then you can get to the pin that holds the shifter in, You will also have to unplug the wire harness for the shift button.
