Need a 4.2 engine

i gotta '97 and im lookin 4 a new engine. any1 know were i can get 1 complete for a good price?

I'll pull the one out of my truck(runs great) for the right price. You can have the 5 spd tranny too(junk). has 130,000 miles. never had any issues, doesn't use oil good compression. what you think? The clutch is bad. It's a 2001 model.

I'm in OH tho you'd have to pickup or pay freight. Let me know what you think. I know for sure that going to Ford is not the best route. my friend had a new crate 4.2 installed cost over $4000 with labor.

would it work with an automatic? because im an amputee and am looking to make it a little easier. if so and i payed for freight and what not how would 1200 sound?

jasper rebuilt is set around $2400.00 last I checked- my buddy's 4.2 threw a rod so we did some lookin around. He ended going to ford for his. Was around $2000 or so and was new, not rebuilt. Then tach on some labor and additional parts he was a 4k before you know it.
